Space salvage: turn enemies into hot metal and collect it, to recharge your shields or for profit.

Ammunition pickups: allied ships regularly drop ammo crates to keep your trigger finger busy.

Combo attacks: the faster you blow up the enemies, the greater the multiplier of your score will be.
